He treated her like a delicate flower,
Dressed her in the finest of clothes,
And bathed her in the essence of milk,
She was loved beyond all reason.
And he loved her like she was his.
But bit by bit she grew weary,
And her body dropped weak,
He tried everything to save her,
But too late did he ignore.
He thought of another plan,
Just to get her back to her feet,
Restlessly he did his best,
Just to make her alive again.
So weak...
She whispered to him.
And she knew one day she will fade.
But he didn't care,
He didn't mind,
He just wanted her to stay.
Someday,
She said.
You'll forget.
But he didn't want to,
So he didn't and she was gone,
Before he even knew it,
She wasn't his anymore.
